Foreign students benefit from a homestay in many ways. not only do you get to meet new people, you gain a new family. You also get to fully immerse yourself in English. We offer a variety of Homestay styles to suit every need. We have homestays for students that wish to study in Canada for 10 months or more. We have shorter homestays available for students that wish to stay in Canada only for part of the summer (for Summer camps). We have homestays that are located near many private schools, both in Toronto and the surrounding areas. We also offer homestays with certified teachers.

Our homestay families are selected because of their clean, quiet and friendly homes. Students have two choices when it comes to rooms: private and semi private. Students can choose to have a bedroom that is shared with one other student, or have a bedroom all to themselves. Students can also choose to stay with certified teachers! We can even arrange for private tutoring at your homestay!

Here are a list of Frequently asked questions:

Do students share bedrooms?	Students can have one of two types of rooms: Private (a room for his/herself) or Semi Private (a room shared with one other student).
What is included in a basic homestay?	A private or semi private room. The room will be equipped with a desk, a bed with sheets and blankets, dresser, closet, good lighting and towels. You also get 3 healthy meals per day.
Do I have to do chores?	The amount of chores that you do will depend on the Host family. this is something that should be negotiated with the family before you live with them. It is an expectation that you are responsible for keeping your room tidy and not to make a mess around the house.
Can I have tutoring while at my homestay?	Yes. We can even arrange it for you. In fact, some host families have an adult that can tutor you! Keep in mind that there is an extra cost in this.
Do you inspect host families?	Yes, each prospective host is inspected and approved by our Homestay Program Coordinators to ensure that they are clean, safe and secure.
I am 17 years old. Do I require a guardian?	Yes, legally, anyone under 18 years of age requires a guardian. We can arrange for a legal guardian, should you require one (there are extra costs involved)
How much does a homestay cost?	Homestays in the GTA generally cost between $700 and $900 depending on the family and what is included. Guardianship is extra.
